Janet Jackson's 'State Of The World' Tour Comes To Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) - Singer Janet Jackson is getting ready to head back out on tour.

The Grammy award winner announced she will perform a four-month North American tour this fall titled the "State of the World." This will be a continuation of her 2015 tour "Unbreakable" which the singer had to put on hold  as she turned her focus to the arrival of her first child.

The tour will hit 56-cities beginning in Lafayette on September 7th.

Jackson brings the tour to Baltimore's Royal Farms Arena on Saturday, November 18th. She will also be making a stop in D.C. on Thursday November 16th at the Verizon Center.

Tickets for the new tour will go on sale Friday, May 5th. Those who had tickets to the Unbreakable tour before it was cancelled will be given new tickets for the new dates.
