BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Baltimore Ravens have begun “Football School” that will span five weeks. The first 12 days are spread over the first three weeks of May. During which time, players work with coaches in the classroom and on the field. The offense and defense do not line up against each other.
Rookies from the reported for physicals and had picture day on May 4 and kick off their three-day camp today, May 5. But before any of that begins, the new draft class got to see their jerseys for the first time.
Round 2 pick Tyus Bowser said, “17, 18 years of hard work and sacrifice…all that you’ve been through…it means everything.” Bowser has the potential to be an explosive OLB in Baltimore’s system.
Jermaine Eluemunor from Texas A&M reflected on his journey from London to this moment saying, “eight years in the process and I’ve wanted to be here so bad and to see my name on the back of an NFL jersey just it means a lot.”
Round 4 pick Nico Siragusa was in awe of the meaning behind the jersey, “the tradition behind this, two Super Bowls, man… it’s the Baltimore Ravens!”
