Police Make Arrest In 2015 Murder Case

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with a 2015 murder in Baltimore.

Antonio Melvin has been charged with first-degree murder and four counts of first-degree attempted murder in the death of Darrell Alston.

Police say Alston was shot in the head back on May 20, 2015.

He was one of five people who had been shot in the 2400 block of E. Monument St.

Detectives continued investigating, and nearly two years after the fatal shooting, were able to arrest Melvin in the case.
