Australian Lizard Got Loose In The Outbacks Of Maryland
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- An Australian lizard escaped into the outbacks of Anne Arundel County.
The foot-long animal was seen by a resident strolling on Midland Avenue in Pumphrey and residents were a bit startled and called Police.
A police corporal scooped it up into a basket and called animal control.
It's believed someone had it as a pet and let it go. The street where it was found ends at Patapsco State Park.
