Brady Denies 'Curse' Of Being On Madden Game Cover, Breaks A Mirror
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Could Tom Brady be the next victim of the Madden Curse? It was announced today that the Patriots' quarterback will be the cover athlete for Madden '18.
Since NFL stars have been gracing the front of the video game's packaging, they've also been hit with injuries, poor seasons and inexplicable reasons for declining play.
The history of the 'Madden Curse' can be traced back to the late '90s, but Brady still maintains there is no curse.
Brady will be following in the footsteps of teammate Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski was on the cover last season and then faced a season-ending back injury.

Madden NFL 18 will be released August 25th.
