School Security Employee Accused Of Sexual Contact With Student

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Maryland man who was working as a security employee at a middle school has been arrested on charges that he was having sexual contact with a student at the school.

Mike Anthony Lievano is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old female student at Col. E. Brooke Lee Middle School.

He faces charges of sexual abuse of a minor, a third-degree sex offense, and a fourth-degree sex offense.

The investigation began on May 4, when authorities were told about the allegations against Lievano.

The victim was interviewed, and she reportedly told investigators that she and Lievano had been texting, and started dating on March 29.

During that time, she said they had sexual contact at her home and his home.

Authorities also interviewed Lievano, who turned himself into police Sunday night. He is being held on $10,000 bond.

Anyone who believes that their child may have been victimized by Lievano in a similar way should call the Montgomery County Police Department Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400.
