Jerry Crasnick, baseball writer for both ESPN and Baseball America, joined Ed and Rob to take a trip around the league and touch on all the hot topics.

Jerry started by talking about the bullpen struggles going on all around Major League Baseball saying, “I think if you talk to the General Managers of most teams they’ll tell you it’s the most unpredictable part of any roster because it depends on many factors.”

When asked about what is happening with the Giants and Dodgers in the NL West Jerry said, “well the Giants were bad after the All Star break last year, they’re a team where it is hard to tell what is ailing them they’ve gotten a bit older and have cut costs in certain areas…and the Dodgers just seem to have a hard time getting some continuity in the pitching rotation.”

Jerry went on to talk about the Championship window for Los Angeles, and who is the team that has surprised him most this season.
