2-Year-Old Shot, Injured Near Coppin State
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 2-year-old was shot in the 600 block of Denison Street near Coppin State University Wednesday night, police say.
It was approximately 10 a.m. Wednesday when officers received the call.
Upon arrival, officers located a 25-year-old woman who stated that her 2-year-old son was shot. The child had sustained a graze wound to his left calf and was taken to an area hospital.
Southwest District patrol units located a crime scene, then citywide shooting detectives responded out and assumed control of the investigation.
