WEATHER BLOG: Warm Weather Continues, Great Weekend Ahead

Hi Everyone!

How about that 93° yesterday? I was driving along the top side of the Beltway about 3:30 and my car thermometer was in the upper 90's. This day we will forecast, basically, the same temp. The "official" forecast high is 92° but the record is 97° set back in 1962.

One more day in the 90's, tomorrow, but in the mid afternoon with a cold front passing through the area a BIG change will occur. One minute it will be quite stuff the next breezy, and refreshing. Yes, there is a chance of a thunderstorm as this front swings by, but that should only define an hour or two of the forecast day.

The weather for the Preakness, but even bigger in some circles, the Chesapeake Bay Blues festival  will be darn good! Partly sunny, breezy and refreshing on Saturday, the same, minus the breeze, on Sunday.

There is a lot to do this weekend, and the weather should give you some fine "me time!"
