Police Searching For Silver Nissan Following Afternoon Homicide

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Baltimore Police Department is searching for a silver Nissan they say a suspect fled the scene in after a Wednesday afternoon homicide.

Police say the fatal shooting happened at 12:45 p.m., in the 1300 block of N. Calhoun St.

Responding officers found a 28-year-old man. He had several gunshot wounds, and was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Detectives began investigating immediately, and determined the shooter approached the victim on foot, before opening fire.

Police say the shooter continued to shoot the victim even after he fell to the ground.

The suspect fled the scene in a silver Nissan, heading south towards Edmondson Ave.
