Police: Driver Involved In Fatal Tow Truck Crash May Have Used Alcohol/Drugs
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police say the driver involved in an auto-pedestrian wreck that resulted in the death of a tow truck driver possibly could have been using alcohol and/or drugs beforehand.
48-year-old Thomas Anthony Flayhart was standing behind his tow truck Wednesday afternoon, when police say a Dodge Magnum driven by Brian Wayne Weatherley struck him and his tow truck from behind.
Flayhart was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where he was later pronounced dead.
A GoFundMe page has been created to cover funeral expenses.
