2 Murdered Within An Hour Of Each Other Overnight In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Baltimore Police Department is investigating two separate murders overnight Monday that occurred within an hour of each other.

Police say the first fatal shooting happened just after 11:30 p.m., in the 1700 block of Ruxton Ave.

Responding officers found a 30-year-old man inside a home who had been shot in the chest.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Authorities say a person of interest has been identified in this case.

The second murder happened less than an hour later, in the 4000 block of West Belvedere Ave.

First responders found a man, later identified as Omar Farabee, 31, with gunshot wounds.

Farabee was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
