Baltimore Police: Louisiana Authorities Arrest 'Public Enemy No.1'

BALTIMORE (WJZ/AP) -- Baltimore Police say authorities in Louisiana have arrested 'Public Enemy Number 1,' Cortez Wall.

Police say Monday night Wall was arrested in Shreveport, Lousiana.

The arrest was made by agents with the U.S. Marshal's Office Fugitive Task Force, sheriff's deputies and police with a K-9 detained Wall as he tried to flee.

Wall was treated for minor injuries at a hospital and taken to a local correctional center.

The 18-year-old man was wanted by police for a homicide on the 300 block of Whitridge Avenue on May 6.

Police say Cortez has a long history of violence.

No charges were reported in the police statement, and it wasn't immediately known if Wall had an attorney.
