Naked And Unafraid: Nude Man Jogs Through Baltimore Streets

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — For the past day, it has been the talk of the town: A man jogged completely naked in downtown Baltimore as temperatures hovered around 40 degrees.

The video has gone quickly viral as the man was seen with not even a pair of shoes on, jogging around during morning rush hour.

"Just jogging, just like it was sunny and 80 degrees out," one woman who only wanted to be identified as Terry told WJZ's Rick Ritter.

Around 8:30 a.m. Monday, police were bombarded with calls. Drivers and concerned citizens spotted the runner near the Weinberg Center for Women's Health and Medicine at Mercy.

Terry was one of the first to encounter him.

"I said, 'There's a naked man, call 911' because I didn't want anything to happen to him. And then everybody just started looking," she said.

It was a scene that was hard to believe, even in Baltimore.

"He stopped, let traffic go and then proceeded to cross the street," Terry said. "It was chilly, and he didn't seem to mind"

After a trot downtown, the runner vanished before police could take him into custody.

"Talk of the town -- Facebook, everything," Terry said.

Talk that's now going nationwide -- no shirt, no pants, no shoes, no problem for the Baltimore jogger.

"Hopefully it was a one-time thing. Maybe he was disoriented, like he didn't take his medication," Terry said.

Police were unable to find the man and could not track him down, even though several units were trying to find him. Police say he most likely would've been charged with indecent exposure.
