Best Bars In Baltimore To Watch The Kentucky Derby

As the first leg of the famed Triple Crown, the Kentucky Derby has a special place in the hearts and minds of horse racing fans all around the world. But when your city is the second stop, it takes on added meaning. So its no surprise that Baltimore, host of the Preakness Stakes, has some outstanding Derby Day parties. Here are five of the city's best bars to have some fun and watch the most exciting two minutes in sports.

For the fifth consecutive year, The Chasseur will hold its Kentucky Derby Block Party. From 12 noon to 8 p.m. on race day, the popular New American bar and restaurant will feature live music by local bands, a beer truck, a bomb bar, and a craft brew station. There will also be a special raffle to support a local charity. Attendees will be able to watch the Kentucky Derby horse race via a large video projection.
