This week a TV shows cast is making major bucks, a pop legend becomes an icon, and the Super Bowl may be getting a little weird.
It’s being called the concert of the summer. Monday night, hip hop supercouple Jay-Z and Beyonce took over M&T Bank Stadium here in Baltimore.
This week a piece of childhood nostalgia is coming back, the Daytime Emmy’s went PG-13, and there was some good news for one of our favorite comedians.
Last night (June 25) Jay Z and Beyoncé played a show in Miami sayin’ “how the hell did this s–t happen, oh baby.” It was the premiere of their co-headlining On The Run tour, which has been criticized as both a perfunctory cash-grab for the celebrity couple and the must-see blockbuster event of the summer. Fans were delighted by a few marquee moments, most notably the reveal of the couple’s wedding footage when has never previously been released, and an extremely long setlist. When you’ve got that many hits, why not play them all.
It’s official! Superstar super couple Beyonce and Jay Z are going on a summer tour together, and they’re making a stop in Charm City. Mr. & Mrs. Carter’s “On The Run Tour” will stop at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium on July 7.
