Maryland’s no good, very bad winter continues with a system passing to our south.
Freezing rain and ice created problems on area roads during the morning commute.
Winter weather advisories have been issued across the area and will go into effect as early as 3 a.m. for portions of western Maryland and 6 a.m. for portions of central Maryland lasting through Tuesday afternoon as our next storm system moves into the mid-Atlantic.
A Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 10 a.m. Thursday for several areas in Maryland.
Some rain and sleet are expected in parts of Maryland. A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for parts of Western Maryland until 6 p.m.
A wind advisory is in effect for Baltimore and surrounding counties until 6 p.m. Thursday.
A freezing rain advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Monday.
A boil water advisory in effect for about 400,000 people in Prince George’s County after a massive pipe burst on Monday has been lifted.
