Ed asked Mike about the defensive side of things and how the Panthers offence will do against Flacco and the Ravens? Preston says that “There is no communication problems there…Just do your job!”
Aaron Wilson, of The Baltimore Sun, joined us to talk everything Ravens heading into their matchup with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
I believe all the stars have aligned for that result this Sunday at home against Carolina.
This is not a brain teaser but rather my simple, what-if and maybe list of who I think might have a chance to maybe be a good enough team to probably get into the playoffs.
We’ve listed off a few of the Ravens’ rivalries that have been (and still are) our favorites.
The Ravens’ newly acquired Steve Smith Sr. showed Baltimore why they signed him with his play against the Redskins on Saturday night.
“He was very impressive against the Redskins. He’s just an intense guy. He brings that to practice every day,” said Brown. “I don’t think there’s any doubt that if he stays healthy this season he’ll make some plays and make the Ravens better.”
Another notable NFL injury occurred on Saturday, and though it may sound less serious, it may be much more serious in the long run. Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker sustained his fifth concussion in a full year on Saturday, and it’s not known what his status is for week one.
“It’s tough to tell with these head injuries. The NFL obviously wants to be very careful with these concussions,” said Schalter. “They’re going to treat him with kid gloves, and honestly, they have so many options at WR in Denver, it might not slow them down at all. Emmanuel Sanders looked as though he may surpass Welker on the depth chart anyway.”
Here are my predictions for how the AFC will finish this year and who we will see in the postseason.
Baltimore Ravens Head Coach, John Harbaugh, is once again suggesting that “Redskins fans have their AFC team be the Ravens.”
Here’s our favorite tweets and memes about #AndyDalton…
“I think the Ravens will definitely contend for a wild card spot in the AFC, but I don’t think the team is good enough to win the division,” said Kostos. “I know the Cincinnati Bengals made an impression last year, but I actually think the Steelers are winning the division.”
“I think the Steelers are flat out better than Baltimore, and I think the Bengals are slightly better as well,” Kostos claimed. “That leaves the Ravens on the outside looking in.”
“The NFL has this rule that prevents suspended players from entering the teams’ facilities. To me, that is ridiculous. Use your league for good, not to hinder someone’s progress. Let him be around the guys,” said Nagler.
