An emotional moment in Washington, D.C. The daughter of country music legend Glen Campbell testified on Capitol Hill that her dad is struggling with Alzheimer’s and it may soon silence his music.
Alzheimer’s affects about 5.4 million people in the United States and, as of 2010, about 86,000 people in Maryland, according to the Alzheimer’s Association. Next month, three people with Carroll County ties will dance to help raise awareness and money for the Association.
