Our local weather will feature a rather nice end to our week, with mostly sunny skies and warm late August temperatures.
Once again, the storm moved quicker than we thought. Like Saturday, Sunday’s storm was moving at a faster pace than expected. This time, it brought the rain in quicker. We thought this rain would hold off until Sunday evening, but it obviously overspread the state earlier in the afternoon.
The front got out of here earlier than expected, and we all benefited. Showers lingered into the early morning hours for Baltimore, but moved away for sunrise. Even along the Eastern Shore, the morning showers cleared pretty quickly.
A weakening front is moving across Maryland Friday night. Showers and thunderstorms are scattered along this front and very slowly spreading to the east.
A break today, but another round of thunderstorms and showers is on the way. A new front is pounding the Midwest from Indiana to Missouri with strong thunderstorms.
The front that started to move into Maryland Thursday, is finally gone.
