The latest waves of bitterly cold air have arrived in the East and prompted yet another Wind Chill Advisory for Maryland’s northern counties for wind chills 5-15 degrees below zero. The advisory goes into effect at midnight and is set to expire at noon on Wednesday.
We dropped to 12 degrees Wednesday morning. That’s colder than all of last year, and the coldest it’s been since 1/24/2011 when we were at 8 degrees. The cold is going to continue, setting the stage for two different fronts to move our way.
