Highs will climb close to 90 degrees Tuesday afternoon, while the dewpoints/humidity will remain in check. However, Wednesday, highs will jump to the upper 90s and possibly break the current record of 97 degrees. When you factor in the higher dewpoints/humidity, it will feel more like the low 100s. The air quality alerts will likely be extended over the next few days, and heat advisories or even warnings could be issued as this heat continues.
