Even though Sandy is spinning way off to our north, it’s responsible for our clouds and cool air. We only topped out at 52 degrees Friday. The average high is 62 degrees.
After a beautiful fall weekend, a big time warm-up is on the way.
What a warm up! After only making it to 58 degrees Saturday, we topped out at 74 degrees Sunday. We are going to hang on to this warm air a little while longer. Temperatures will not drop much Sunday night, then rise to near 70 degrees again Monday. That’s before a cold front comes swinging through the state.
It was the coldest morning so far this season. We dropped to 35 degrees at BWI-Marshall and most of the Baltimore region, while temperatures got all the way down to the 20s in Western Maryland.
It’s official. We all know it’s been a warm winter, but this is now officially the 7th warmest winter on record for Baltimore.
Clouds will take over Wednesday and we may even get a little rain. But there’s a better chance for rain Wednesday night and Thursday as a new storm slowly drags over the state.
