The way this team played down the stretch, winning six out of their final 10 games of the season, was a lot of fun. They added a play-off feel for baseball to this town because they did not roll over and die for contenders.
This past Baltimore Orioles offseason, we made a big deal about the team bringing in Derek Lee and Vladimir Guerrero and what they would mean to the middle of this teams lineup.
In this disastrous Baltimore Orioles 2011 baseball season, there hasn’t been a whole lot for O’s fans to cheer about.
The good news is Friday night, the Baltimore Orioles finally beat the New York Yankees. The bad news is what came after.
Every Orioles player not signed through 2013 should be traded
I said the O’s would not compete this year and Andy MacPhail didn’t make the right moves to help this club, but I honestly didn’t think it would be this bad. I actually picked them to win 83 games and finish a hair over .500, but it’s apparent that is not going to happen.
The Orioles lost their eighth game in a row last night. This time to the Minnesota Twins
The Orioles lost their first game last night 7-3 to the Detroit Tigers. Let’s not start jumping out of planes people. The team is going to lose more than a few games this season. Last night, the difference was in the starting pitching.
The Orioles have gotten some good news injury wise of late. MRI’s for both Brian Roberts and Justin Duchscherer came back clean.
Break up the birds!!! The Baltimore Orioles are 2-0 so far in spring training baseball games. Vladimir Guerrero went deep today. Nick Markakis went yard twice.
The news that Brian Roberts can’t practice with a stiff neck scares me. He is the guy that for lack of a better term, stirs the drink for the Baltimore Orioles offense.
As I look at the Baltimore Orioles season, I know that health will be key for them to have any kind of success.
