High pressure is moving off the coast into the Atlantic Ocean. Southwest wind will help boost our temperatures up a couple degrees as our temperatures climb.
Satellite loop suggests that much of the area will see more clouds than sun Thursday afternoon, so we have gone that direction with the forecast.
The pleasant weather with ample sunshine and low humidity will yield to increased humidity and higher chances for thunderstorms this week.
It is possible for temps to get a degree or two higher than 97 on at least one of the next few days, but overall I think our forecast is on target.

The cold front is moving through today. It has definitely warmed up ahead of it again today, but without the intense humidity/high dewpoints of the last few days. After a round of showers and thunderstorms, even cooler air is moving our way.
Not a bad start to the weekend yesterday with temperatures around 90 and dew points in the low 60s. We’ve certainly experienced much worse for this time of year!
