A downtown street crippled by a sinkhole is back open Wednesday.
Repairs to close two sinkholes on East Monument Street have now opened another sinkhole a half a block away.

A dangerous problem is getting worse. A sinkhole is expanding in a busy section of east Baltimore. It’s causing all kinds of frustrations.
What is happening to Baltimore streets? First, a major water main break near the Inner Harbor. Now, a sinkhole near Johns Hopkins Hospital shuts down more roads.
East Monument Street between Patterson Park and Milton avenues is closed due to a sinkhole. The sinkhole has also caused a gas leak.
