It was a big sports weekend in the area! Three big events! Well… One out of three ain’t bad.
“He reminds me of an all-American guy. When you think about Todd heap, he’s the consummate professional, the perfect, All-American football player, and he was tough as nails,” Scott said of his former teammate.
Through the first four games of the 2014 NFL season, the Baltimore Ravens look like a completely different team on the offensive side of the ball.
The Ravens offense triumphs over the Panthers in a decisive 38-10 win at M&T Bank Stadium.
Ed asked Mike about the defensive side of things and how the Panthers offence will do against Flacco and the Ravens? Preston says that “There is no communication problems there…Just do your job!”
I believe all the stars have aligned for that result this Sunday at home against Carolina.
With the Browns blowing the game, we got some mustard in a wager with Cleveland’s 92.3 The Fan.
Scott has a few questions having to do with Ray Rice and the Ravens. Do you have any answers?
The Ravens 23-16 home defeat to the Bengals marked the first time under John Harbaugh they’ve been beaten at M&T Bank Stadium to open the season. 1st time since 2005.
Brian Baldinger of NFL Network joined Scott, Jeremy and Jason to preview the NFL Opener between the Green Bay Packers and Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Brian believes that tonights game could be great matchup. “We get to see two great quarterbacks on the field in a great environment. I think they picked great matchup to kind of kickoff the season with because anybody who watched Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers in the preseason, they know that these two guys are ready to go, and they have a great surrounding cast around them.”
The Baltimore Ravens seem to be adjusting well to new offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak.
Some interesting things Kubiak said about Joe Flacco was that he thought Joe was faster on foot, which is good for the new offense. He also said that his arm is very strong and so accurate, despite the numbers this past season. It will be interesting to see what they do tonight.
