Top Cell Phone Providers Work Together To Fight Texting While Driving

It’s an unprecedented move by the nation’s top cell phone providers. Normally fierce competitors, the four companies have now banded together to fight the epidemic of texting and driving.


It was January 2008 in Orlando when 26-year-old Maryland native Heather Hurd was killed. She was on the way to meet with her wedding planner. A tractor trailer driver was texting when he rammed Heather's car; she died instantly.
