Hurricane Sandy is gone, but the damage from the storm is clearly still visible. It has been 3 months since Super Storm Sandy unleashed on the east cost of the United States, but the daunting task of clean up is still a daily task. This past weekend I went back to New Jersey to follow up on how the clean-up is going. Photos by Jeremy Wilkins. WilkinsPhotos.com

The Baltimore Grand Prix was a blast and even with the rain showers I think everyone had a great day. I’m not going to give you all of the stats of the race other than telling you that Hunter-Reay won the Baltimore race and closed within 17 points of Power. I would like to share some of the pictures I took from the race. I want to give a big THANK YOU to M&T Bank for giving me seats in the hospitality suite on turn 1. I had a great angle to take these shots, and the food and people were great. For those […]
When you are competing with the best teams in motor-sports, it is that much more important to put your best foot forward during every aspect of a NASCAR weekend. For the #51 team of Jeremy Clements in the Nationwide Series, the goal is to perform your best at all times in the hopes of winning a race and acquiring a full-time sponsor.
I had the opportunity to spend a couple of weekends with one of the NASCAR Nationwide Teams in Bristol, Tenn., and Richmond, Va. Well, I asked for some drama at Martinsville… and we got it.
Friday I went to the NASCAR Final Practice and watched the teams get ready for Saturday’s qualifying. Jeff Gordon had the quickest time around the track and a lot of drivers walked away thinking they need to make improvements before the race.
Thursday, I will be leaving for Martinsville, Va. and I thought before I go on my trip I should give you one last lesson on NASCAR. This time I am going to explain some of the terms that are used during the race.
I thought long and hard about what to write about while at Bristol this past weekend. Maybe I should tell the fans about how the cars are running. Maybe I should let you know what the standings are for the current race and how the teams are already planning every move, so they can make it to the championship. But then it hit me. You might not have any idea what goes on at a track other than thinking the cars go around in a circle for hours. Oh yeah, you might also wonder why they don’t make any right turns. I should tell you that out of all the races NASACR does make right turns at a couple of the tracks. So readers here you go.
