Happy Tuesday! Latest weather maps and short-term guidance suggests that most of the area will be rain-free this afternoon.
This is going to be the “week without winter.”
There is some really warm air off to our south, while the jet stream/storm track is running just off to our north. We are stuck in between the two for the rest of the week, occasionally getting a little bit of both.
March is officially in the record books and the final numbers are in. Even with the cool end to the month, 2012 was the third warmest March ever on record.
The stretch of mild weather continues. Even though it was cooler Sunday than the mid 60s of Friday and Saturday, we still hit 51 degrees. That is 10 degrees above average!
Although it was another chilly day, we made it into the 50s. We officially topped out at 51 degrees this afternoon. We all know that it’s been chilly lately, but wait until you hear some of these stats.
