Matt Miller of Bleacher Report joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to recap the weekend in the NFL and give his thoughts on where teams stand in the league.
Running back Jamaal Charles has become a veritable workhorse for the Kansas City Chiefs, and it is not surprising since he’s one of the best backs in the entire NFL. With a new contract extension in place, the Chiefs hope for another great season out of Charles, and they’re likely going to get one.
Is Andy Dalton worth it though? According to Lapham, “Andy Dalton can win games with them. He averaged 10 wins a season. Doesn’t have the arm strength but he has good numbers.” Dalton’s game is more running than passing. With Dalton looking good what is going on with the other positions? The Bengals are looking good on defense but Lapham says that if there is anything to be worried about, it would be the offensive line. All the other positions all have great starters besides the o-line.
Every game this weekend has fascinating plots, from Cincinnati trying to break their playoff futility to the Frozen Tundra earning its sobriquet with a 30-below wind chill expected Sunday.
