Blockbuster trades are common in most sports. But in the NFL, it’s a rare occurrence. There were reports surfacing that Baltimore may buck the trend and acquire a wide receiver to spark some life into a struggling offense. But the Ravens made the right call when they decided to pass on such an opportunity.
Three games is but a portion of a 16-game NFL regular season but so far the signs are super (as in Super Bowl) for the Ravens. Baltimore was in the championship conversation before the season kicked off and they’ve nothing but bolster that notion so far.
Yesterday was a beatdown, I hope the Ravens got it out of their systems.
