Will he or won’t he? That is the question as we get ready to mark the birthday of Edgar Allan Poe. Poe is buried at Westminster Hall graveyard. Each year, on this night, a mystery person has left roses and cognac at Poe’s grave.

No-Show Doesn’t Deter Poe Fans From Annual Ritual

Fans of American writer Edgar Allan Poe are heading to Baltimore again this year to see if they can catch a glimpse of the shadowy figure known only as the “Poe toaster” — even though the mystery man was a no-show last year.
