It will be a special Independence Day at the Inner Harbor. For the first time ever the Pride of Baltimore II will be part of the city’s July 4th celebration.

One of Baltimore’s most iconic landmarks, the Pride of Baltimore II is celebrating its 25th birthday. The clipper ship was born out of tragedy when Pride I sank and killed four crew members in the 1980s.

The Pride of Baltimore II is heading to Washington. The topsail schooner will be on display as part of the bicentennial celebrations of the War of 1812.
The Pride of Baltimore II is back home Friday night. It pulled into port after months at sea on a special promotional tour.
The Pride of Baltimore II will be setting sail on a five-month voyage to ports along the East Coast, Great Lakes and in Canada.
