Two men are dead and four more had to be rescued from a wicked rip current in Ocean City Wednesday afternoon. It’s the fourth and fifth time this summer that someone’s lost their life being pulled under.
Driving rain causes dangerous high waters, tearing a path of destruction across the region. Firefighters in Prince George’s County rescued two dozen drivers from rising water–this as homes in the area flooded out, leaving residents with nowhere to go.
Maryland Natural Resources Police have identified two men who died after a boat capsized in St. Mary’s County.
Much of the water has receded but there is a great deal of damage left behind.
Widespread flooding is impacting all parts of Maryland.
