I don’t have that “a win’s a win” mentality anymore. I’ve watched enough teams lift the Lombardi Trophy to have a good idea of what should not happen for a championship team.
Sunday night!! National television audience watching. The Baltimore Ravens will wear their all black uniforms when they host the New York Jets.
Torrey Smith had a coming out party while being targeted eight times with five receptions and 152-yards, including three touchdowns.
Which Baltimore Ravens squad is the true team?
For about three years now, I’ve been convinced that Baltimore Ravens guard Ben Grubbs was the best offensive lineman on the team and one of the best guards in the NFL.
Hopefully Ben Grubbs can make it back because he obviously makes a big difference on the line.
EVERYONE who’s responsible for preparation needs to look in the mirror and take ownership. Every player who lines it up needs to take ownership. This is not just “one of those” losses. It’s a wake up call. It needs to be treated like a crucial loss.
Yesterday was a beatdown, I hope the Ravens got it out of their systems.
Do they offer mulligans in the NFL? Rhetorical question, of course. But, if the Ravens had a do over they’d sure use it to replace the egg they laid Sunday in Nashville.
So much for that strong start by the Baltimore Ravens. They followed up their impressive 35-7 victory over defending AFC champion Pittsburgh by hitting the road Sunday and losing 26-13 to the Tennessee Titans.
