The search for survivors continues in the south following the region’s worst tornado outbreak in nearly 40 years. The disaster touched several states, including Virginia, where the governor has declared a state of emergency.
The damage may be done but the cleanup of several tornadoes that struck western Maryland isn’t.
The National Weather Service confirmed three tornadoes did touch down in Maryland this weekend.
It’s confirmed. The National Weather Service is still completing their report, but they have confirmed 3 different tornadoes in Frederick and Carroll Counties from Saturday night.
A tornado watch is in effect for most of the state through 9 pm, and 11 pm for the northern Eastern Shore.
As if we didn’t get enough rain this past weekend, it appears we’re getting another blast of wet weather.
