We are looking at one of the quietest stretches of weather in quite some time.
You can watch radar over the next few hours as a line of scattered thunderstorms comes out of Western Maryland and Northern Virginia.
A well-defined short-wave trough will continue to cause some showers and thunderstorms to start the day across our area.
Thanks to high pressure to the east yesterday, much of the region saw pleasant conditions in advance of a trough that will be moving into the region today.
Another front will move through Wednesday and behind that, a fall-like airmass will move into the northern tier of the country.
