The stubborn upper-level low responsible for so much rain this week will remain a thorn in our side for one more day, but fortunately more sunshine will be had as this feature finally heads offshore.
The warm front got stuck over Maryland today. Not only did it bring in rain today, it destroyed our forecasted high temperature.
After a day and a half of clouds and rain, the sunshine returned today. And after only making it to 50 degrees yesterday, the sun helped warm us up to 74 degrees this afternoon. We are actually going to string together a few warm days but they will come with a price.
After yet another damp, cool, dreary spring day yesterday a warm front will be to our north today (struggling mightily as been so often the case this spring) and milder air will flood into the region.
This blog will sound like a repeat from last week as the crazy ups and downs of spring continue. We only hit 48 degrees for our high Friday and then 52 degrees today.
Yes, we actually saw sunshine today! It hung on for most of the day before clouds thickened through the afternoon. With the sun out, we warmed up considerably from where we’ve been lately.
Although it was another chilly day, we made it into the 50s. We officially topped out at 51 degrees this afternoon. We all know that it’s been chilly lately, but wait until you hear some of these stats.
The weekend will start off on a pretty good note with a mix of sun and clouds with most shower activity staying to the south.
It’s been a very stormy and interesting day outside. We started out with clouds and some light rain from the warm front swinging through.
