We topped out right at the average of 65 degrees this afternoon. It was just another beautiful, crisp, fall day. The high pressure that brought us this beautiful air mass will slowly drift down to our southeast.
After a beautiful fall weekend, a big time warm-up is on the way.
Early today, a front pushing offshore in the Northeast will be ushering in some noticeably chillier air and a gusty wind. Temperatures on the Veterans Day should be no higher than the low-50s this afternoon, which is about 5-10 degrees lower than in recent days.
The clipper expected to move across New England on Monday will have little impact in our area as well other than to boost temperatures into the low 50s as milder air surges northward ahead of this feature.
It’s a cool and sunny day out there Monday. High pressure is hanging on just enough to keep the skies clear. However, that high is quickly moving offshore. Right behind it is the next storm.
