So we will lose Winter Weather Advisories by 10 AM, but as that great weather dude Yogi Berra once said, “It ain’t over till it’s over.”
An arctic front will move into the city this afternoon and evening.
The latest waves of bitterly cold air have arrived in the East and prompted yet another Wind Chill Advisory for Maryland’s northern counties for wind chills 5-15 degrees below zero. The advisory goes into effect at midnight and is set to expire at noon on Wednesday.
Winter weather slammed Maryland Tuesday, but even though the snow is over, we’re not out of the woods yet. The frigid temperatures are sticking around for a while.
This is the coldest air mass we have had in at least two years.
The winter chill has returned to Maryland, but only for a few days.
Baltimore city officials say they are lowering the temperature needed for the city to offer additional services for the homeless during the winter.
A cold front passed north of us early this morning. There were clouds and even a few flurries with it, but what it really did was bring in a new round of cold air on gusty northwest winds.
The cold air is here, now comes the next storm.
