Winter storm warning
A significant amount of rain and sleet are expected in parts of Maryland. Garrett and extreme western Allegany counties are under a Winter Storm Warning from 6 p.m. Sunday to 6 p.m. Monday.
The worst of the storm has passed, but what’s still ahead?
A strengthening nor’easter is moving up the coast. For us, it’s bringing the soaking rain that we need. Trees, lawns, and flowers are just exploding with color as they drink it up.
Yes, it is spring but a dose of winter is moving our way. There was a lot of sunshine today, but it did little to warm us up. We only topped out at 46 degrees. That is way below the average which is now up to 57 degrees.
It may not be a snowstorm on Christmas, but there is still a snowstorm coming our way this Christmas weekend.
This storm has been pounding a lot of the country with everything from mountain snows across the west to a full out blizzard in the Upper Midwest to icing in the Appalachians and flurries even down in Georgia, to severe weather along the Gulf.
