Are you or your junior or senior student prepping for the ACT or SAT as college inches closer? Now is the time to get started with studying. The Baltimore metro area offers plenty of places to have one-on-one tutoring or a small classroom experience. Pricing, locations and times vary and instructors can often work around most schedules. Colleges are still looking at these scores for admissions, so it’s important to make sure that they are as strong as they can be.

OmniTest in Towson was founded in 1991 with the idea that all students can improve standardized test scores and focuses on one-on-one attention with students. OmniTest starts with and initial 2.5-hour diagnostic exam to determine a student’s strengths and weaknesses. Next, one-on-one tutoring focuses on harnessing those strengths while honing in on the weaknesses. Techniques are taught to guarantee results, and if a student doesn’t improve by at least 100 or more points over the baseline, OmniPrep will provide additional instruction at no charge. The eight-session program is $1,275 and the 12-session program is $1,750. Prep for the SAT II subject tests, PSAT, SSAT and ISEE, GED, GRE and GMAT are offered. Enhanced programs and hourly tutoring are also available.
