Pickles Pub was established March 17, 1988 and has become a staple in Baltimore tradition. Sports fans come to this pub and experience a good place where friends can find the Orioles game and hear the loud roars coming from Camden Yards. Pickles Pub provides the best menu such as burgers, sandwiches, appetizers and salads galore. The traditional American fare at Pickles Pub consists of local and craft brews from the tap. It is a great place to go before or after an Orioles game.

Ropewalk Tavern

Dating back to the pre-Prohibition era, Ropewalk Tavern is located down the street from Cross Street Market and was renovated in 1995. The McFaul brothers took over the establishment and turned it into a great tavern with a classic atmosphere. With $8.99 crab cakes with fries and 69-cent shrimp, The Ropewalk Tavern supports fine eating and good company with reasonable prices. Ropewalk serves 155 beers with a colonial-type theme due to its support of the Founding Fathers.

Alexander’s Tavern

Located in Fells Point, Alexander’s Tavern has a great list of delicious foods. This Tavern also provides a great environment for watching games on the many TVs, complete with free wifi. Daily food and drink specials during happy hour from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. include $3 Stella Artois Drafts and 16-ounce rail drinks. When going into the city, this Fells Point tavern is welcoming and makes for a great gathering spot for a group of friends.

No Way Jose Cafe

No Way Jose Cafe is in Federal Hill. With Taco Tuesdays and 1/2-price Fajita Wednesdays, this place is a fun meet-up for groups of friends or family. The bar is quite small, however the tightness promotes an intimate surrounding with patrons, bartenders and servers. This is a great place to gather with a group of friends and enjoy the $3.50 Stellas, $2 Natural Lights, $3 Mexican beers, $3 house margaritas and $5 for five ground beef tacos.

Opened in 1993, Looney’s Pub is located in Canton Square. One of the best things about Looney’s is it provides a great place to gather with a group of friends and watch sporting events.
