While I agree with the above that these are good places to find a cheese steak you need to try The Landing Strip in Middle River, 3030 Eastern Blvd and The Hard Yacht Cafe on Bear Creek in Dundalk. They deserve mention as the best.

Magerk’s is the absolute best in baltimore. Kind of a hassle getting to Federal Hill, but there is really none better. I was at Tony Luke’s in Philly earlier this week and it did not even compare.
