Mahaffey’s Pub

This pub has been coined “one of Baltimore’s finest beer bars.” Mahffery’s Pub  has a large selection of imported and micro bottles and cask conditioned beer. Offerings like $5 burgers or chicken sandwiches and great prices on sliders keep a consistent fun atmosphere through the whole week. Happy hour is every day and starts at 7 p.m. with three to 10 oz beers for $5 and $.75 off all drinks.

Bad Decisions is a bar that presents a good experience for the palate — eating here certainly isn’t a bad decision! They offer a handful of draft beers like Miller Lite and Yuengling.  One of the special features is the delicious bacon happy hour. Other offerings include Nutella stuffed french toast with a side of fries for $9 and two fried eggs with a breakfast meat assortment (bacon, two kinds of sausage and home fries) for $8. The specials at this bar do change from time to time and this is what makes visiting a must.

The elegant cafe serves up to 48 different varieties of gourmet loose leaf tea varieties. Happy hour goes from 4 to 7 p.m. and the cafe picks up at that time with delightful music and cocktails. Not only do they have a cocktail party menu, they also have a delicious dinner menu (buffet and seated) with an open, cash and consumption bar available. In addition, this place has a lovely private area that is well suited for intimate groups.

The Brewer’s Art has been defined is a staple for tourists and for locals. Set in a beautiful Mt. Vernon townhouse, this beautiful restaurant/bar offers a delicious meat, fish, seafood and pasta menu. Plus you can enjoy your dinner with a delightful hand picked selection of beers and fine wines. Happy Hour is available on Sundays and Mondays from 5 or 4 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. From Tuesday to Saturday, it’s 4-7 p.m.

This fun and exuberant pub was created in 1988 and has grown to become the post game hub for Orioles and Ravens fans. This is a bar and restaurant that gives a good — even magical — sports atmosphere. Especially during playoff season, this is a great place to enjoy a cold beer and good service. For instance, ordering delicious food such as the chicken Chesapeake and basket of nachos is $17 in total. Happy hour lasts from 3 to 9 p.m. with two for one drafts and pitchers, $4 Rail drinks, $3.50 bottles and $6 16-inch pizzas, $5 dozen wings and $4 nachos.
