Learn more about Fells Point, one of Baltimore’s oldest and liveliest neighborhoods on this fun, spooky tour. Knowledgeable guides recount the haunted history of local pubs, stores and homes, their stories painting a historical picture of the area. While scary for some and informative for others, this tour a good time for all. There is also the similarly priced Mount Vernon Ghost Walk, where you may have a spirited adventure in Baltimore’s cultural district, or warm your bones with spirits at the Fells Point Haunted Pub Walk, which is $20 for those 21 and older.

The capital of Maryland since 1694, is bound to host many spirits in the statehouse, taverns and many older buildings. The 90-minute tour led by friendly guides takes just enough time for a leisurely stroll through downtown. Hear the intriguing and often violent stories of Annapolis figures, including Joe Morgue the grave digger, Amy at Rams Head Tavern and the Headless Man. The tours run April through November, on both Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. Better still, save $2 off the Candlelight Ghost Tour in Frederick by showing your ticket stub from this tour. Another ghost tour for adults only is the Spirits of Ellicott City for $20 on the second Thursday of each month.

Tour guides, dressed in period costumes, take you by candlelight through dark streets and alleys of the historic district where war-time executions, disease, suicide and murder all provided for many sudden deaths in the area. Choose between the ghost tour, or the cemetery tour, which departs from 515 S. Market St.
