Father's Day is about celebrating the man of the house. If you would like to sample they do serve ½ pours of any draft for ½ the price. You can also enjoy a nice glass of wine or one of their cocktails or spirits. If you are taking dad during their Happy Hour all drafts and wine by the glass is $1 off and house mixed drinks are $5. Blue Pitt BBQ & Whiskey Bar is located down the hill from The Avenue in Hampden and right across from Artifact Coffee. Here dad will be like a kid in a candy store if he enjoys whiskey because they have 100+ American options and some imported whiskey as well, along with handcrafted cocktails and beer. If the weather is nice you can enjoy the outside seating. If you are also going to grab a bite to eat, order at the bar and then someone will bring the food to you when its ready. Note that on Sundays the kitchen is closed but pulled pork sandwiches and loaded baked potato salad is available at the bar.
