Best St. Patrick's Day Parties In Baltimore

It's time for the wearing of the green, drinking green beer, dancing a jig and being in a festive spirit as St. Patrick's Day approaches. The party started early at Slainte Irish Pub as they kicked off 17 days of celebrating St. Patrick. Festivities include food and drink specials, traditional Irish music and whiskey tastings. The party started March 1st, but continues until the actual day of celebrating the patron saint of Ireland. You might even see an Irishman dancing a jig in a kilt.

This is one of the best ways to celebrate the wearing of the green, whether you are Irish or not. The Balitmore PubCrawl is becoming the talk of the town on St. Patrick's Day. This year, the three day event takes place Saturday, March 12, Sunday, March 13 and Thursday, March 17. You must register at a designated location where you will receive a wristband and a map. Once you receive those, you are ready for the party as you go to each of the participating pubs to experience all the drink specials you can handle. Just be sure you don't have to crawl home!

The James Joyce Pub is the place to be to experience O'Malley's March, the popular 7-piece Irish/folk rock band. This band, formed in 1988, is led by the former mayor of Baltimore and governor of the state of Maryland, Martin O'Malley. If you feel like dancing a jig, having a good time eating traditional Irish food or drinking green beer, James Joyce is the pub in the know. You are sure to have a grand time!

Travel to the St. Patrick's Day parade in style on board The Life of Reilly party bus. The pub has rented a 55 passenger luxury bus to transport partygoers to and from the parade. Before loading on the bus, enjoy a complimentary drink at the pub. Free merchandise from Guinness and Jameson will also be available. Upon returning to the pub after the parade, enjoy an Irish food buffet and all you can drink draft beer. Tickets for the party bus are $55 per person or $100 per couple.

Saturday, March 12, 2016 beginning at 10:00 am

There is fun happening all day at the Power Plant Live near Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The event is called Shamrocks and Shenanigans. At 10:00 am, the venue will host the Kegs and Eggs Rally in which customers can experience an endless breakfast buffet and discounted drinks. At 3:00 pm, there will be live music from Alter Ego and The Shamrogues. There will be a live leprechaun present. Attendees can play games, drink Irish whiskey and have a grand old time all day long.
