THE DEFENSE

Q: Great Nissan. Where did you get it?

A: My dad and I went to Georgia to pick it up. He wanted to find the cheapest used Nissan Murano in America and it was in Georgia. For a while, he was seeing how low he could get it, but then something just happened where he was like, we need to get the cheapest one. It used to be a rental car.

Q: Did you find any old stuff left inside it?

A: I'm still finding guns and bullets. There's a lot of crevices. <laughs> No, it was clean when we got it. One thing that's annoying is that it doesn't have power seats, which are common in 2009 cars.

Q: How was the Georgia trip? You drove back yourself?

A: I drove down with my dad and he let me drive back on my own. The whole time we were driving, he was saying I was too close to him and too slow. He made me go from Georgia to Maryland at 65 miles per hour the whole time.

Q: What do you listen to when you drive?

A: Me and my brother share the car and whenever we use it. We like to mess with the preset stations. I think they're all set to the Christmas station. For a while it was the Spanish station.

Q: What is your driving style?

A: I'm passive aggressive. I get angry and honk a lot.

Q: What's the most pissed you've ever gotten?

A: It was before this car. I took my car in to get serviced and they gave me a rental one. I was going to school and this guy slammed on his breaks on 95 because I think he thought I was too close to him. I ended up passing the school exit to stay behind him and flip him off for a few exits.

Q: Do you ever get angry at passengers?

A: It drives me crazy when people eat in here. I don't allow eating. That's why I hate sharing the car with my brother. I clean the car all the time, but my brother will eat and drink and smoke in the car. It's perfect when I give it to him, but in one night there will be like six coffee cups. He's the only one of his friends who drives a lot, too, so they're all making a mess in here. There's some cigarette burns on the carpet. It's good, though, because whenever there's anything wrong with the car, I'll just blame it on my brother. Most of the time it will be his fault, anyway. While the car was still under warranty, he went around drifting in the parking lot and seriously messed the car up. It needed like $6,000 of repairs. My dad wasn't too happy about that one.

Q: What's your least favorite feature?

A: You push a button to start it and the key is the clicker thing. When you're driving, you can pull the clicker out and the car still runs and everything. If you're at a red light though, you can turn it off. Sometimes when I'm driving, my friends pull the key out, throw it in the trunk and when we get to a stoplight, the ignition turns off. Then we all scramble to get the key before the light turns green. It's not a good design feature at all.

Q: What do you think your next car might be?

A: I like to change it up. I'd like a 2010 Nissan Murano. Maybe I'll get power seats.
